Think. Sort. Connect.

I’m always looking for fresh brainstorm activities, and this one was perfect to start a poetry unit.

Think- Write words that come to mind about the topic on post-its.

Sort- Work with partners to discuss how to arrange the notes.

Connect- Draw around the notes to illustrate the arrangement.

Every group does it differently, so by reviewing and posting them all together, they really set a great conceptual backdrop.

Great brainstorming activity to activate prior knowledge.

Top 10 Posts of 2012The year 2012 marks the end of another...

Top 10 Posts of 2012

The year 2012 marks the end of another chapter in my expat life.
